John Scott Works manufactures, designs, and installs mezzanine floors. We are based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands and are part of the PRN Group established in 1997, which is a family owned and operated business. All aspects of designing, manufacturing and installation of the floors are carried out in-house by John Scott Works employees. Using state-of-the-art robot welding machines and the luxury of three roll forming lines we truly are independent.

To help maintain our growth curve, John Scott Works are looking for an experienced CAD draughtsperson, preferably within Hi-CAD. Customer focus and attention to detail are key.
CAD Draughtsperson
As a draughtsman you will be joining a fast-growing department where every day has a new challenge. You will be responsible for designing mezzanine floors along with the associated calculations, giving the customer an impression of how their floor will look within their building using our 3D Hi-CAD software, discussing requirements, and producing fabrication drawings for our in-house production facility.
- Self-motivated, honest, and trustworthy.
- Able to work project based.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Experience within the construction industry or with steel fabrication design preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, with MS office-based programs among others.
- CAD skills required, preferably with knowledge of both HiCAD and AutoCAD. Solidworks also beneficial - Ability to work from surveys and in detailing for manufacture preferred.
- Our internal training programs will offer experience within other departments to assist with your product knowledge and personal development.
Rate of Pay / Benefits
- £30-33k per Anum starting wage, experience dependant. Full-time, Contract.
- Working Hours 40 per week, Monday to Friday only.
- 23-day holiday + Bank Holidays.
- Profit sharing bonus.
